ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan has revealed that the senior journalist, Zia Shahid wrote his first political speech and advised him to join mainstream politics.
According to a report published by Daily Khabrain, Shahid called on PTI supremo at his Bani Gala residence and felicitated him over his marriage and the successes achieved by the party in last 22 years.
"Last time when I visited your place, it was thronged by scores of PTI workers; your wife has adorned the charm of the residence," Shahid told the former skipper.
The seasoned journalist also wished Khan, well for his political career to which the PTI supremo thanked Zia Shahid for his love and support during the journey.
