MCCI asks SME sector to benefit from SBP export finance policies

MULTAN (APP) – Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) vice president Tariq Khan asked Small and Medium Enterprises to benefit from State Bank export finance policies.

He was speaking at a seminar titled “Export Finance Scheme and Long term Financing Facilities for SMEs” held at MCCI in collaboration with SMEDA here on Friday.

He said that Small and Medium Development Authority (SMEDA) should keep on training to maximum people through its programmes.

He hoped that the training would yield positive results in form of skilled people who would contribute in socio economic development of the area.

Addressing the seminar, Joint director SBP Karachi, Iqbal Hussian Bangash, told the participants about the long term facilities extended by the central bank in this regard.

He informed that the bank offered these facilities at minimum mark up.Abdullah Khan, Abdul Ghani and Regional Business Coordinator SMEDA, Aleena Durrani and others also spoke.
