QUETTA (Web Desk) – Two convicted death row prisoners have been executed separately in jails of Punjab and Quetta early this morning, media reported on Wednesday.
A death house inmate Ameer Hamza was sent to gallows in Balochistan’s Central Jail, Machh at 5:30am today.
A local sessions judge in Sibbi awarded death penalty to the convicted prisoner, Ameer Hamza in 2004. The criminal killed a man in Harnai in 1995.
It should be mentioned here that it was first hanging after 2007 in Balochistan.
Another convict, Sikandar Ali was hanged till death in Bahawalpur’s Central Jail at dawn today. The convicted killer took his friend’s life in 2002 in Rawalpindi.
Sikandar Ali hailed from Benazirabad, Sindh.
