MADINAH – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Madinah Munawwarah and paid visit to Masjid-e-Nabawi SAW, where he offered prayers and prayed for the progress, prosperity, peace and stability of Pakistan.
The premier offered Nawafil at Riyaz-ul-Jannah and later paid his respects at Roza-e-Rasool SAW, where he was blessed with the opportunity to perform Ziyarat-e-Khas.

Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Information and Broadcasting Minister Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi accompanied the prime minister.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and a high-level Pakistani delegation performed Umrah in Makkah Mukarramah.
Before performing Umrah, the prime minister, Field Marshal Asim Munir and other members of the delegation were also blessed with a special visit to the Holy Kaaba, where they offered prayers and spent moments in spiritual devotion.
The high-level visit comes against the backdrop of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia’s close and longstanding brotherly ties. Alongside the religious observances, the visit carries significance as the Pakistani leadership continues to maintain high-level engagement with the Kingdom.
