Meeting presided over by PM reviews security situation

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – A high level meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the chair in Islamabad on Tuesday reviewed the security situation.

Advisor on the National Security Retired Lieutenant General Nasir Khan Janjua gave briefing on the meeting with Indian National Security Adviser and Foreign Secretary in Bangkok last week.

The meeting also discussed upcoming visit of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to Pakistan and agenda of Heart of Asia conference.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Adviser on the Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.
