RAWALPINDI (Web Desk/APP) – An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Monday summoned former Interior Minister Rehman Malik to record his statement in Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto murder case and adjourned the hearing till February 10.
Rehman Malik was Chief Security Advisor of Chairperson Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Benazir Bhutto when she was assassinated at Liaquat Bagh on December 27, in 2007.
As the court started hearing today, FIA prosecutor told the court that earlier issued summons on Feb 2 had not been responded.
ATC judge Rai Ayub Marth re-issued the summons of former Interior Minister to appear before the court on next hearing of Feb 10 to proceed the case following the indictment of former president Pervez Musharraf and the other accused.
