Nandipur Power Project producing 479 MW electricity

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad has informed the National Assembly of Pakistan that Nandipur Power Project is generating 479 MW of electricity daily.

Speaking in the lower house of parliament in questions hour, the minister said that the work on 6th Secondary Transmission Grid Plan is in progress and will be completed by June this year.

He said the PC-I of 7th plan will be approved this year and work on it will be started after the completion of the 6th plan.

On the occasion the NA also approved a 19 member Standing Committee on Human Rights on the motion moved by Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmad.
