LAHORE – With a gap of four months, former prime minister and supreme leader of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz is set to restart his political activities from today following the arrest of his younger brother Shehbaz Sharif.
The former premier has called an emergency meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the PML-N in Lahore on Monday to discuss the matters of great significance and decide future course of action.
The decision to hold a key meeting came a day after an accountability court sent the PML-N president on 10-day remand in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for interrogation in Rs14 billion Ashiayana Housing scheme scam.
