PM Nawaz used the crashed plane 3 months ago: PIA history website

ISLAMABAD – The ATR-45 500 plane that crashed in Havelian leaving 48 passengers dead was used by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif just three months ago, according to a website that keeps a history of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

A twitter post on Friday said the PM Sharif used the same Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK661 on September 7.  The watermark on the picture shows the name of the website i.e. historyofpia.com.

In the picture, the name of the plane, AP BHO can be seen written on the plane as Nawaz Sharif is seen appearing from it.

Reacting to the post, different twitterati voiced indignation saying the plane was thoroughly inspected for the premier; but, it was allowed an unchecked flight for the poor passengers causing deaths to 48 innocent people.

Another user pointed out that the national flag carrier has 12 other ATR planes and raised a question, “Was it the same plane used by the PM?”
