ISLAMABAD – Police on Saturday arrested two Chinese nationals for running illegal alcohol factory in capital’s sector F-10/4 area.
During the raid at a house where the manufacturing unit was set up, the officials recovered large quantities of beer of various brands.
According to the police spokesperson, the suspects were involved in producing and selling the alcohol without a licence or permit to run the brewery.
A first information report (FIR) was registered against the duo under Section 3/4 of Prohibition (Enforcement of Hudood) Ordinance 1979 at the Shalimar police station, Dawn News reported.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Waqaruddin Syed appreciated the performance of the team after the successful raid.
