LAHORE (Web Desk) – Parents of Dawn Islamabad’s senior journalist Hassan Belal Zaidi were found murdered in their Model Town house on Wednesday night, Dawn reported.
According to initial police findings, the door of the house was locked and the body of Dr Javaid Zaidi, 65, was found in his bedroom and that of Mrs Kausar, 60, in the basement.
A relative said she had last contacted the couple a day earlier.
According to police, the couple was killed with a sharp-edged weapon and the condition of the bodies showed the murders took place at least two days ago.
The couple’s car is missing.
