ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The federal government will provide Rs25 billion to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on account of total net hydel profit of Rs70 billion in four months.
While briefing National Assembly Standing Committee on Water and Power in Islamabad, Ministry of Water and Power Additional Secretary Omar Rasul said the federal government is aware of difficulties faced by provincial government due to non payment of this profit.
He said that federal government is taking serious measures to resolve all outstanding issues of the power sector with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
