WASHINGTON (Staff Report) – The Pakistan Embassy in Washington has arranged a range of educational and cultural events seeking to increase public awareness about Pakistan among Americans.
The Embassy joined some fifty resident embassies in celebration of an annual cultural event.
Thousands of Americans and members of Pakistani community visited the Embassy and expressed a keen interest in food, art, fashion, music, folk dances and various other aspects of Pakistan’s rich culture.
Documentaries depicting Pakistan’s ancient civilisational roots, history, development, geographical diversity, and richness of culture were also screened at the Embassy auditorium.
