ISLAMABAD – Thirty three Pakistanis including Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif are among 500 Most Influential Muslims for years 2015-2016 issued by world’s leading research organisation Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre (RISSC).
The list has gained huge prestige among Muslims of the world, RISSC affiliated with the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute for Islamic thought publicize annual list of influential Muslims in the world.
The list starts with overall Top-50 Muslims and remaining 450 are divided country wise in 13 categories without ranking. 33-Pakistanis made it into the list of 500 Influential Muslims 2015-2016.
Beside Sharifain, Haagi Muhammad Abdul-Wahhab, Prince Agha Khan and Sheikh Muhammad Taqi Usmani were among the overall Top-50 Muslims Category and remaining were adjusted in the categories.
PTI chairman Imran Khan, Maulan Fazalur Rehman, Syed Sajid Naqvi, Siraj-ul-Haq, Tahir-ul-Qadri, Allama Ilyas Qadri, Salimullah Khan, Dr. Abdul Qadeer, Maulana Tariq Jamil, Balqees Edhi and Malala Yousufzai are among 33 other Pakistani included in the recent list.-Online
