LAHORE – The custom officials have recovered 4 kg gold from the bag of passenger coming from Manchester to Lahore and arrested him at Allama Iqbal International airport.
The suspect Shoaib arrived from Manchester to Lahore through PIA flight PK-701 where custom officials searched his baggage and recovered some 4 kg gold which he had hidden in secret cells of the bag tactfully.
During the investigation, the accused told that he is resident of Gujarat and goldsmith by profession and had been smuggling the gold since long.-Online
