ISPR releases video showing destruction of Indian posts firing on civilians along LoC

RAWALPINDI – Indian troops have resorted to unprovoked firing along Line of Control (LoC) killing five innocent people, including four women, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The firing occurred on Sunday (July 9) in Rawalakot sector, Satwal, Manwal, Tatrinote areas along the LoC in which four others including three girls were wounded.

However, ISPR claimed that Pakistan Army gave befitting response and killed four Indian troops and destroyed two of their check posts.

The ISPR has also released the video showing the posts being destroyed after firing on innocent civilians.

On July 8, as the first death anniversary of Hizabul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani was marked in Indian-occupied Kashmir,  Indian army started firing in different areas of Azad Jammu and Kashmir along Line of Control (LoC) leaving at least two dead and three injured.

According to the ISPR, the Indian forces used small arms and  heavy weapons and mortars along LOC  in Chirikot and Satwal sector.

The Foreign Office had also lodged a protest with Indian high commissioner on the unprovoked firing.
