KPK fines Qatari prince over falcon hunting

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – In an extraordinary move, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has fined a Qatari prince Rs 80,000 when he was caught along with three falcons in Dera Ismail Khan.

The prince was fined by provincial Ministry of Environment.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan also confirmed the incident in his tweeter feed.

Members of the royal families of the Gulf States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are known to be enthusiastic hunters who travel to Pakistan each year to hunt the rare Houbara Bustard.
