MUMBAI – Twitter is flooded with a shocking news that Taher Shah is coming out with a new single titled ‘Mermaid’.
According to reports in Indian media, the news seems to have been spread by a Pakistani Facebook user – ‘Metronome’ – who wrote “Taher Shah’s next song is called Mermaid.
The social media user also revealed that the song will be released on December 25th, this year “Christmas and Quaid e Azam’s birthday… Have a look,” he wrote.
However, the picture shared by that Facebook account was that of an old Faking News article from April, 2016.

25th December is the releasing date of great Taher Shah’s new song Mermaid.

Since then, the social networking websites have seen a huge response from Twitteratis and other social media users.
There is however no mention of any such release on Taher Shah’s official Facebook and Twitter handle.
Taher Shah made headlines earlier this year in April, with his overripe hit ‘Angel’.
