RAWALPINDI (Staff Report) – Supermodel Ayyan Ali on Saturday pleaded to the court that she wishes to present more evidences in her defence as the judicial remand was extended till April 24.
The supermodel who is currently detained in Adiala jail for the charges of money laundering was brought to the court in heavy security where the Judge accepted her request to submit more proves and record her statement.
The court ordered the officials to record all of the claims and statements given by the model.
The police were ordered to present the complete challan of the case at next hearing as well.
The judge adjourned the hearing till April 24 when customs officials will also testify against Ayyan Ali.
Ayyan Ali was arrested by customs officials on March 14 while she was carrying $500,000 to Dubai without tax declaration. She is facing the charges of money laundering and tax evasion in the case.
