PHILADELPHIA (Staff Report) – Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States, Jalil Abbas Jilani has called upon the international community to play an assertive role for the peaceful resolution of the lingering Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India.
Speaking to a conference organised by US Commander Special Operations, the envoy said that dispute has aggravated militant and jihadi sentiments in the South Asian region, Radio Pakistan reported.
Jalil also called for acknowledgement of tremendous sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in the war against terrorism.
