RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS ) General raheel Sharif met with Australian Chief of Defence Force Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin at the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.
According to an ISPR press release, matters of mutual interest including measures to further enhance defence and security cooperation between the countries were discussed.
Earlier, on arrival at General Headquarters, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented Guard of Honour to the dignitary. Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin also laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhda.
On Tuesday, Air Chief Marshal Mark Donald Binskin called on General Rashad Mahmood, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC).
The meeting marked the beginning of the 7th round of defence and security talks and the 4th round of Pakistan – Australia 1.5 Track Security Dialogue in which matters related to security and mutual cooperation were discussed.
