ISLAMABAD – The disgruntled member of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, Chaudhry Nisar, censured the process of awarding tickets by the parliamentary board for general elections 2018.
Addressing a corner meeting for his election campaign at Adyala Road, the former interior minister expressed on Monday that PML-N had awarded tickets to ‘political orphans’.
“If PTI has 10 faults then PML-N has 100 faults,” said the furious Nisar who also repeated his announcement to contest general elections as an independent candidate.

“I never asked for a party ticket neither would I ask for a ticket”, asserted the politician.
The former security czar observed that now more hard work was required in elections as he was contesting as an independent candidate, adding that he was controlling his nerves just because of 34 year’s association with Nawaz Sharif.
Earlier, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan submitted nomination papers for two National Assembly and two Punjab Assembly seats as an independent candidate.

Widening the gulf with his party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Nisar filed the nomination papers through his aide Sheikh Aslam with the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) Rawalpindi office for NA-59 Rawalpindi, NA-63 Taxila and Punjab Assembly’s PP-10 and PP-12.
Earlier, it surfaced that the supreme leader of the party did not want to issue the ticket to Nisar, once a close ally of Nawaz Sharif.
While the president of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and the former CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif had stated that disenchanted Chaudhry Nisar would surely get a party ticket whether he demands it or not.
