LAHORE- Awami Muslim League’s Chairman Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, who is a leader of national level, excited laughter on Thursday when he messed up the posts of members of Dawn’s misleading story committee in a letter he wrote to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
According to the details, Rashid in a letter to the Interior minister regarding the committee on Dawn’s story intermingled different government officials and alleged ruling elite of unfair selection.
While raising the issue, Rashid said that Usman Anwar has served in the Punjab Sports Board and he was involved in corruption scam along with Rana Mashhood Ahmed when the latter was Minister for Sports & Youth Affairs, contrary to the fact that Usman is an officer of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and he never worked in sports board.
Osman, who was named as a Director General (DG) Punjab Sports Board in Rashid’s letter is an ODD nowadays however, Sheikh Rashid confused as another official Usman Anwar was serving in sports board Punjab.
The adamant Sheikh Rashid also uploaded a Twitter message on Friday, confirming that he still has not realized his mistake regarding messing up DG Sports board Usman Anwar with FIA official Usman Anwar.

The legislator in his letter also expressed concerns over another member of the committee, Secretary Establishment Division Tahir Shahbaz.
Tahir was deputy commissioner in Okara during Musharraf era and he subsequently was appointed joint secretary in the Ministry of Industry when Jahangir Khan Tareen was the Minister.
Interestingly, he was appointed as Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) during Pakistan Peoples Party stint in 2012. Moreover, he has not served under the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for the last several months.
Tahir Shahbaz was also appointed Registrar of the Supreme Court by Former Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani and Ex-Justice Jawwad S Khawaja.
Sheikh Rashid in a letter to Ch.Nisar Ali Khan said the members of the committee formed to probe into Dawn’s story had links with the ruling family adding that the government handpicked members for favorable results.
The letter also read that the chairman of committee Justice (R) Aamir Raza Khan had an affiliation with the Sharif family adding that his name was submitted by PML-N for care-taker Chief Minister prior to 2013 elections.
Rashid also claimed that the daughter of Justice (R) Aamir Raza was already enjoying benefits from Sharif Medical Complex.
