Rasheed Godil discharged from hospital

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Senior Muttahid Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rasheed Godil has been discharged from hospital upon having attained a stable condition, said hospital spokesperson on Friday.

According to the statement the MQM lawmaker was discharged in high security arrangements.

Earlier on August 18 Rasheed Godil got seriously injured when gunmen opened fire on his car in Karachi.

Police said, the incident took place in Bahadur Abad area where unknown bike riders fired six shots on Godil’s car and managed to flee from the scene.

He received bullets in his chest, head and jaw. The driver died on the spot, while wife remained safe.
