PML-N workers barge into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – A group of raged Workers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stormed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly on Sunday and protested against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan’s call for march towards Raiwind.

According to the details, dozens of PML-N workers chanted slogans against Imran Khan, climbed the walls and gates of the assembly and hoisted the flag of the party. The protesters were of the view that they would surround the PTI supremo provided he marches towards Raiwind.

On the other hand, Imran Khan slammed the behaviour of PML-N workers and reiterated his plan to march toward Raiwind.

He reiterated that PTI’s Raiwind March is a peaceful protest and that his party would not march on to anyone’s home.

It is pertinent to mention here that Imran had announced a march towards Raiwind on September 23 to push government for a probe into the Panama Leaks that reportedly revealed offshore assets of PM Nawaz and his family.

Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, daughter of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif distanced the party and herself from the protesters who barged into the provincial assembly.

Maryam took to Twitter to express her stance regarding the incident.
