ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The election commission of Pakistan has announced that senate elections would be conducted on March 5 instead of March 3.
According to a notification issued today, the last date to file nomination papers is February 13 while papers will be scrutinised on February 19 and 20.
The candidate can file appeals against rejection of nominations with the secretary Election Commission or with the Provincial Election Commissioners on February 23 and 24 while disposal of appeals will be on February 26 and 27.
The last date of withdrawal of nomination papers is February 28 and a final list of contesting candidates will be publicised on February 28.
The candidates will file appeals in the office of the secretary Election Commission of Pakistan or Provincial Election commissioners.
