ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – The outgoing Japanese ambassador Hiroshi Inomata paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad today (Friday).
During the meeting, the Prime Minister said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Japan and appreciated the ambassador’s contribution in further strengthening bilateral relations.
The ambassador expressed satisfaction at the current state of bilateral relations and said Pakistan has extraordinarily performed in the domains of foreign policy and economic turnaround.
He said Pakistan’s efforts towards reaching out to its neighbouring countries are highly commendable.
The outgoing ambassador expressed gratitude for the cooperation extended to him by the Pakistani government throughout his tenure.
