NEW YORK – Netflix’s latest show ‘The End of the F***ing World’ has garnered an astounding 100% rating on ‘Rotten tomatoes’ (American reviewing website for film and television). Here is why you should watch it too.
The dark comedy, based on comic book series by Charles Forsman follows the story of two teenagers James (Black Mirror’s Alex Lawther) and Alyssa (Jessica Barden) as they run away from home and go on a cross-country road trip.
‘The End of the F***ing World’ intrigues its audience as the self proclaimed James plans on murdering Alyssa. In his own words, he tells the tale “I thought she could be interesting to kill. So I pretended to fall in love with her.”
Safe to say, it is no normal teen comedy show. It explores the dark side of human nature in a comedic way, to say the least. It is a complete package of humor, violence and teen angst.
