KARACHI (Web Desk) – ‘Liberate Khalistan’ trended on social media website Twitter against the Indian government.
The Khalistan movement is a political nationalism movement started by the Sikhs in India aimed to create a separate country called Khalistan.
The trend is one of the top worldwide trends on Twitter. It is also the most discussed trend in Pakistan.
The users wrote that the Sikhs too deserved a referendum like the one in Scotland and want liberation from India.
