NEW DEHLI (Web Desk) – Indian police on Thursday announced to question the Pakistani journalist, Mehr Tarar, over her links to the murder of former minister Shashi Tharoor’s wife.

An official, while talking to Indian media, said "we are investigating everybody linked to the case and a letter in this regard will soon be issued to the Pakistani journalist."

"We have also requested United States’ FBI to cooperate in the investigation of the murder," added the official.

Tarar, on the other hand, has refused to go to India. "Anybody interested in interrogating me must come to Pakistan," she said while talking to a private news channel.

Sunanda Pushkar, the wife of the former Indian minister, was found dead in her room at a five star hotel in New Delhi on January 17, 2014.
