FREE INTERNET SERVICE: Facebook opens internet.org for developers

Facebook started in 2013, the project internet.org. With this project, Facebook will offer free Internet in countries where internet access is not obvious. Mark Zuckerberg, this service is now open for developers to offer more free online services via the internet.org app.Internet.org facilities include free access to Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Wikipedia and some weather, job vacancies and health websites. Developers now also get access to internet.org, to handle their own websites and offer services through the free web. “It is important to give people more choices” said Zuckerberg.

Internet.org collaborates with telecom providers to offer the service for free.
