ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has postponed his visit to the National Assembly (NA) till Monday.
NA Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said on Thursday that PM would address to the House on Monday, adding that the opposition parties had assured him that they would maintain decorum during Nawaz’s address.
“If the PM wants to attend the session on Friday as well, it’s up to him but the policy statement on Panama Leaks will be given on Monday”, Ayaz said.
Nawaz was earlier scheduled to address the Parliament on Friday after the opposition had demanded that he take the House into confidence on the Panama Leaks issue.
