Dollar queen Ayyan Ali not indicted yet again, hearing adjourned till Nov 19

RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – The Customs court once again could not frame charges against supermodel Ayyan Ali in the money laundering case on Thursday.
The hearing was adjourned the hearing till November 19.

Ayyan failed to appear before the Customs Court judge, Rana Aftab Ahmed today, where she was to be indicted after her acquittal plea was dismissed.

The counsel of Ayyan filed a plea before the court that her client was sick, therefore, she must be exempted from appearance.

The medical certificate of the accused was presented on the court orders. On this, the judge remarked that the doctor who has issued this certificate belongs to Karachi and it will be difficult to summon him if needed.

The court ordered Ayyan to appear on the next hearing and adjourned the hearing till November 19.

Meanwhile, on behalf of Ayyan a plea has been filed in the Customs court for return of supermodel’s passport.

It is prayed that Ayaz is to go abroad on important visit, therefore, the passport should be returned.

Also, she has challenged trial court’s decision to dismiss her acquittal plea in Lahore High Court.

Sardar Latif Khosa, counsel of Ayyan, filed the plea in the court.
