Dengue cases in Tharparkar soar to 261

THARPARKAR – The outbreak of dengue virus could not be controlled in Tharparkar as four more patients were contracted virus and toll reached to 261.

The local residents said that the authorities have failed to conduct anti-dengue spray in different affected localities including Chachro, Islamakot, Mithi and dozens of people contracted dengue virus on daily basis.

On the other hand, District Health Officer Chandar Gormani has said that we have set up special dengue ward in Civil Hospital Mithi where dengue patients treatment is underway and mosquito nets have been provided in all rural areas. — Online
