LAHORE – A long-awaited weather system is entering Pakistan from the coastal area of Sindh and Balochistan tonight and is likely to bring rains across the country from Monday.
These rains would not only end the long dry spell but also help subside the prevailing smoggy conditions in the country during the next week.
Rain with thunderstorm and snowfall over the hills is also expected at scattered places in KPK, FATA, Islamabad, upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan and at isolated places in south Punjab during the next three days.
Met Office says under the influence of this weather system, rain with the thunderstorm is expected at scattered places of Balochistan and at isolated places in Sindh tonight and tomorrow.
