Pakistan cricket team leaves for Bangladesh tour

KARACHI (APP) – Pakistan cricket team led by newly appointed Pakistan one-day captain Azhar Ali has left for series against Bangladesh.

Pakistan will play two Test matches, three one-day internationals and one Twenty20 match on their month-long tour of Bangladesh starting from April 17th.

Talking to media before before leaving for the tour, Azhar Ali said that the team would miss senior players and their space cannot be filled soon.

“We will miss Misbah-ul-Haq, Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan in the ODIs”, he told media.

He hoped that the young players would perform better and their inclusion in the team is a welcome change.

Promising a tough fight from his young players, Ali said the team is well balanced and can beat Bangladesh at their home.
