SAHIWAL – The daughter of Punjab Governor Rafique Rajwana suffered injuries when her vehicle collided with another car coming from the opposite direction in Sahiwal on Friday.
Anam was on her way to Multan with her Filipino friend Fatima when their Toyota Corolla car collided with another car coming from the opposite side near Sahiwal Bypass.
Both Anam and Fatima sustained minor injuries, while a woman and three children traveling in the other car received some serious injuries.
They were shifted to DHQ hospital Sahiwal for medical treatment, rescue officials said.
The reason behind the accident is said to be a mistake of Anam’s driver. No case was registered against any party involved in this road mishap.
Malik Muhammad Rafique Rajwana, who hails from Multan was appointed Punjab Governor in 2015. Previously, he also served as PML-N Senator.
