RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – The security authorities on Saturday arrested 11 suspected terrorists, including two hardcore terrorists belonging to a banned militant outfit from Shahdara area of Lahore, in the sequel to the ongoing countrywide combing operations.
According to ISPR, the security agencies carried out a three-hour long operation in a Barkat Market area of Shahdara for carrying out arrests of the suspected terrorists besides recovering a cache of weaponry and ammunition.
The combing operation is being taken out by the security agencies of the state in the direction of Chief of the Army Staff.
The volume of the operation was geared up, especially after the panic attacks on Civil Hospital in Quetta whereby killing scores of people besides injuring at least 100 others, earlier this month.
