Murad Ali Shah in action Cancels 550,000 unverified arms license

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has canceled as many as 550,000 unverified arms license. However, the licenses can be revalidated subjected to provision of documents.

Murad while talking to media just after presiding over a Rehabilitation Response (RR) program at FPCCI on Saturday said that the Sindh government had been extending date for verification of arms licenses from time to time but he had refused to extend it further.The licenses can be reverified by providing necessary documents.

Reflecting to the allegation of nepotism and favoritism citing the induction of minister in provincial cabinet he maintained that majority of the ministers were elected (MPAs) and a few had been selected to give representation to a particular community or on technical basis.

Murad also revealed his struggle to uplift and improve the overall shape of metropolis.

“I know Karachi contributes in the national exchequer more than any other city, therefore it must be given due share for which I am striving hard and working to give a new beautiful shape to this city,” he said.
