DUBAI – Former Sindh governor Ishratul Ebad Khan has confirmed that he met former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Dubai on Monday.
Dr. Ishrat ul Ebad was seen attending an event by Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) in Dubai, only a few hours after he left his workplace.
Confirming the meeting, Ishratul Ebad stated that the two has exchanged views on prevailing political situation in Pakistan. However, the former governor, who has been away from the limelight since leaving his office, reiterated that at the moment he was not interested in playing an active role in politics.
According to the sources, this was the third meeting between Ebad and Zardari in the short span of a week.
Dr. Ishratul Ebad was replaced by Justice (R) Saeed uz Zaman in November after having served 14 years as Governor . He has been the longest-serving governor in Sindh.
