Trump has five children by three marriages, and has eight grandchildren. His first two marriages ended in widely publicized divorces.

He is the 45th and current President of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. He was elected the US president in November 2016.

On his 71st birthday, an Indian group – Hindu Sena – is going to hold a “raj tilak” ceremony for the US President whom they have called a “saviour of humanity’.

The group had a similar celebration on the US President’s birthday last year.

The celebratory event at Jantar Mantar will feature a “photo exhibition” of the US President. The poster publicising the event features a childhood photo of Trump alongside a current photo, with both pictures surrounded by balloons.

The Hindu Sena shared the poster of the event on WhatsApp and on other social media platforms inviting people to attend.

“The event will be much bigger than (the one in) 2016. This time we have planned to organise a photo exhibition depicting the successful journey of Mr Donald Trump during the last five years,” President of Hindu Sena Vishnu Gupta told Times of India.

Past bashes

According to a Washington Post report in 1988, Trump’s 42nd birthday at one of his casinos featured “a 15-foot spaceship zooming from the stage to hover amid smoke and flashing lasers above the birthday boy and his then-wife Ivana.” Following the light show, there were magicians and dancers performing to a version of Michael Jackson’s “Bad”.

In 1996, Trump’s then-wife Marla Maples celebrated her husband’s 50th with a bang. Four hundred guests watched as Eartha Kitt serenaded the real estate mogul.

He marked his 59th in 2005 at the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City, where “Baywatch” star Pamela Anderson was present, and Trump blew out candles on a 15-foot, three-tier cake.

Let’s see how the incumbent President of the United States spends his big day this year.
