LAHORE – The Punjab government has imposed a ban on using the chalk and black board in schools all over the province.
Ban has been slapped in this regard keeping in view the negative effects of use of chalk on health of the children.
According to notification issued by the education department on Thursday, the directions have been issued to the all the government schools for purchasing white board and markers.
Special Secretary Education Punjab has issued directives for purchasing at least one white board and marker at earliest.
The government took this initiative for protecting health of children against ill effects of use of chalk.-Online
