Altaf to appear at UK police station for bail extension today

LONDON (Web Desk) – Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain will appear at central police station in London as per pre-scheduled appointment for the extension in his bail that came to an end today, local reported on Tuesday.

According to the MQM spokesman, Altaf Hussain is expected to appear at the police station at 2pm (PST) in connection with an ongoing investigation into the allegations of money laundering.

It should be mentioned here that British police took Hussain in custody on June 3 from his residence on money laundering charges. However, he was released after four days on June 7 on bail till July 31.

It is worth noting here that the MQM leader was later offered an extension till December. This date again was drawn out to April. which has come to end today.
