Shehbaz dents MQM-P in first Karachi tour as PML-N's president

KARACHI - The Chief Minister of Punjab and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz President Shahbaz Sharif has put Pakistan faction of  Muttahida Qaumi Movement in trouble as its former senator Maulana Tanveer-ul-Haq Thanvi is set to join PML-N.

The younger Sharif is in Karachi today (Saturday) where he will address workers convention to woo the voters.

The disgruntled MQM leader will formally announce his inclusion in PML-N in presence of PML-N head  Shehbaz Sharif in the evening.

The MQM-P leader Maulana Thanvi served as the senator in Vice of former MQM leader Syed Mustafa Kamal from 2014 t0 2018 but has now decided to ditch the embattled party.

Thanvi is also President of  Muttahida Bainul Muslimeen Forum Pakistan and graduated from the University of Karachi in 1978.
