ISLAMABAD – Attorney General Pakistan, Ashtar Ausaf Ali on Tuesday stated that the Panama case was about to reach its conclusion and the decision was likely to be announced by Friday.
Ashtar who appeared before the five-member bench regarding the landmark case, in conversation with Samaa said that the verdict will be announced in accordance with the law and constitution.
Supreme Court (SC) had reserved the decision of the case on March 23 after a series of daily hearings. Both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders have vowed to accept SC’s decision in every condition.
Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rasheed also maintained that he would accept the decision whatever it comes out to be. He also announced to appear before any judicial commission if it is formed.
