LAHORE (Staff report) – Three day countrywide anti-polio drive is underway amid strict security of the Polio vaccination teams, reported the national news channel.
PTV World has reported that polio drops will be administered to children across the country in a three-day campaign. Polio vaccination teams will be accompanied with security officials for their protection.

Eighteen million children up to age of five years will be administered anti-polio drops in Punjab, said Adviser to the Punjab chief minister on Health, Khawaja Salman Rafique.
According to sources in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department, more than 5.3 million children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops in the province.
Six million children will be administered polio drops in 23 districts of Sindh, over 2.4 million children in Balochistan and 200,000 children will be vaccinated in Gilgit-Baltistan.
