MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Dharma Productions have announced the sequel to the Karan Johar’s 2012 film ‘Student Of The Year’.
The film is titled ‘Student Of The Year 2’, will be directed by Punit Malhotra – who has previously directed ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ and ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’.
While the first film launched two stars – Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra – the sequel will feature Tiger Shroff in the lead.
Karan Johar announced earlier this morning on Twitter. “It’s OFFICIAL….Directed by Punit Malhotra STUDENT OF THE YEAR 2 ( SOTY2) with TIGER SHROFF”
Sources say, the film will be a reversal of sorts. The first movie had two heroes and one heroine, the second will feature one player and two actresses.
The respite of the principal cast and release date hasn’t been announced.
