Afghan security forces ask Pakistanis to do what Pakistan has never asked Afghans to do in 30 years

KABUL (Web Desk) – In a strikingly odd manner, Afghan security forces have ordered Pakistanis working in Afghanistan to leave the country.

According to Sabah News, the action was taken in response to Pakistan’s move to block the entry of Afghans moving to Pakistan.

After the recent order by Afghan security forces, scores of Pakistanis have started returning back to the country through Torkham border.

Afghan authorities are of the view that under the circumstances, Pakistanis would not be allowed to live and work in the country.

It is relevant to mention that over 1.5 million Afghan refugees are residing in Pakistan from over 30 years but the sudden move by Afghan authorities has raised eyebrows of the political intelligentsia regarding the loyalty offered to the neighbour state in last three decades.
