‘Tis the time of the year when we all are consumed with loading up trends and luxury designers in our lawn arsenal for the scorching summer ahead. Designers have lined up an exciting variety of eastern and western trends. There are billowy sleeves, plunging off-the-shoulders, lace trim pants, embroidered accents, A-line slits and lots more.
Are you ready to feast your eyes on the hottest lawn trends of SS’17?

Draw ‘em Strings!

Collection: Faraz Manan
Ladies, if you adore flaunting your curvy legs with a sharply structure curve-hugging fit, here’s an insanely chic new trend funnelled in by our legendary couture maestro, Faraz Manan. Draw string pants are just what a woman needs to mark her style statement with exclusivity amongst the raging sea of lawns.

Draw string pants are all about fierce originality, contemporary chicness and a fiercely voguish finish for a traditional lawn outfit.

Statement Sleeves

Collections: Sana Safinaz, Rang Rasiya
Dearies, ‘tis the season to ditch those plain ‘old sleeves, and indulge in the effortless and billowy glamour of balloon sleeves, and exaggerated lengths. Pakistani women will no longer yearn to flaunt these Parisian and Milanese trends for Sana Safinaz has brought them home!

The upbeat brand has presented us exaggerated sleeves and balloon cuts to give our lawn joras unbelievably chic vibes that are so glamorously contemporary. We also spotted these exaggerated billowy sleeves at Zainab Chottani and Rang Rasiya.

Tassel Parade

Collections: Faraz Manan, Zainab Chottani, Mahgul.
Designers appear to be fiercely in love with tassels, not just here at home but all over the world, and luckily, we get to flaunt these flimsy delights in lawn this summer. They inspire such creativity, you can tassel up any and every inch of your dress, be it the trouser, the Dupatta, hemlines, necklines, waist or perhaps, the sleeves.

Gharara Fetish, Anyone?

Collections: Honey Waqar, Rang Rasiya, Sobia Nazir.
Gharara-style pants have created quite the fashion frenzy this summer, and they are a delightful blend of eastern ghararas and thigh-hugging bell bottoms. These are the perfect picks for women who want to give their style statement a powerful ethnic burst of post-partition-Nawab begum-like elegance.

Swanky Bottoms

Collections: Faraz Manan, Sana Safinaz.
Bell bottoms are all the rage this season, and we also spot some flared trousers, gharara pants, and voguishly swanky pants that bring back the sexy David Bowie bottoms from the glorious ‘90s. This trend is undoubtedly the best pick to give your lawn jora a chic and contemporary vibe, and you can flaunt these swanky bell bottoms with lacy detailings, ribbons, bows, floral embroideries, tassels and lots more.

Dreams of Lace

Collections: Maria B., Saira Shakira, Sana Safinaz.
Exquisite lace detailing lining up the necklines, hemlines, cut-outs, sleeves, and sheer patches are undoubtedly one of the hottest styling hacks for lawn this season. We spotted gorgeously intricate lace detailing and patches at Maria B, Saira Shakira and Sobia Nazir amongst others. These lacy delights are perfect to exude a romantically feminine aura, or doll up for a formal affair, summertime festivities or even a casual gathering.

Shoulder Revealing Glam

Collections: Farah Talib Aziz, Saira Shakira, Honey Waqar.
We bet you had loads of fun flaunting those sexy but subtle cold shoulders last season! If you liked those subtle cut-outs, prepare yourself to push back your shoulders to a daringly plunging extents for the off-the-shoulder trend has invaded lawn radar with a fierce aplomb. Designers have given us an abundance of opportunities to get downright bold and liberate our shoulders to beat the horrid heat pouring over our heads.
This season, there are plenty of opportunities to flaunt those sexy beauty bones, ranging from strappy off-the-shoulders and slanted boatnecks to dramatically pushed-back shoulders.

Bow-Strap Beauties

Collections: Farah Talib Aziz, Sana Safinaz.
Bow-strap pants are excitingly chic and they are perfect to give our legs a curve-hugging fit. These pants have such a youthful aura, they are just what we need to escape the monotony of culottes, cigarette pants and all the old trends that we’re ready to ditch.

Cinch Up that Waist!

Collections: Asifa & Nabeel, Rang Rasiya, Mahgul.
SS’17 has funnelled in the exciting trend of waist cinching belts, which give our otherwise loose and lanky lawn kurtas a structured curve-accentuating fit. We often complain about how lawn dresses are an awful idea for flaunting a body-hugging fitting, right? Not anymore girls!
This season, designers have added waist-cinching belts, which come with A-line tops, wrap shirts, flimsy lace belts, angrakhas and lots more.

A-Line Sleeves

Collections: Sana Safinaz, Elan.
As if the sultry swept-back shoulders weren’t already boiling up the glam radar, designers decided to present us with yet another drop dead glamorous trend.
Girl, are you desperate to make your lawn kurtas chic and voguishly contemporary? Don’t be so desperate, just invest in A-line sleeves and flaunt your skin with pride.

Embroidered Bottoms

Collections: Saira Shakira, Sana Safinaz, Farah Talib Aziz.
Intricately embroidered straight pants, bell bottoms and capris are making all the rage, as they do every other season. For embroidered pants is the best trick to give your statement a rich traditional aura. These ethnic beauties are perfect for festivities like Eid!

Raging Ruffles

Collections: Sana Safinaz, Tabassum Mughal, Cross Stich.
At last! Pakistani designers have finally paid heed to this infectiously voguish 90s trend that has been making rage in fashions worldwide.

This season, lawn trends are obsessing over soft and romantic ruffle tiers, which have been added to hemlines, necklines, sleeves, pants, A-line slits, bodices and basically everywhere else. Ruffles aren’t going anywhere ladies, it’s about time you start indulging.

Glorious Architecture

Collections: Rang Rasiya, Elan, Saira Shakira.
If you’re the kinda girl who’d rather die than flaunt a densely floral print filled with chunky rose bushes, this is just the trend that will save your style statement this summer. Designers have taken heaps of inspirations from glorious landscapes and architectural feats from historical cities like Venice, Agra, Rome and countless others. And these landscape-inspired prints are drop dead artsy!

Slit those Pants!

Collections: Cross Stich, Mahgul, Sapphire.
Literally, just slit them up and flaunt those sexy calves and ankles, which will make your legs look endlessly long and intensely voguish. Slit pants are trending super-hot on the summer pants radar, and we can’t help but get excited about the variety that is waiting to be shopped.
