33 suspects including three Afghans arrested amid operation Radd ul Fassad

ISLAMABAD – Law enforcement personnel on Tuesday arrested as many as 33 suspects, including three Afghan nationals during operation Radd-ul-Fasaad in different cities across the country.

According to Intra Services Public Relations, intelligence agencies, Rangers and police conducted operation in different cities across the country, including Dera Ghazi Khan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Narowal, Sargodha and Rajanpur during which 33 suspects were rounded up.

Sources said that a large quantity of ammunition and explosive material was also recovered from the detained suspects.

Operation Radd Ul Fassad launched by the armed forces after a recent string of terror attacks is underway with full pace across the country. Top civil-military leadership has reaffirmed taking the operation to its logical end.

Law enforcement officials are in hunt for suspects and militants across the country and especially in big cities.

Pakistan has intensified its operations near the border area of Afghanistan. Pak-Afghan border has also been sealed at Torkham following the attack on Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine that took over 80 lives.
